Strategic Innovation Project, ThomsonReuters
Challenge
The tax and accounting industry was facing multiple challenges: increasing complexity of regulations, talent shortage, and declining profit margins in traditional compliance work. Firms were caught in inefficient workflows with fragmented tech stacks, preventing them from transitioning to higher-value advisory services.
Solution
Developed "TR Perspective" - an innovative advisory platform that:
Uses intelligent data analysis to proactively identify business opportunities
Transforms scattered data into actionable insights through a "Demand-Suggest-Assist" framework
Automates the discovery of advisory opportunities across client portfolios
Streamlines workflow from data gathering to client recommendations
The project's breakthrough was its approach to making advisory services scalable and proactive rather than reactive. By combining data intelligence with automation, TR Perspective enables firms to transition from time-consuming compliance work to high-value advisory services, effectively addressing both the industry's talent shortage and profitability challenges.
Led a transformative digital strategy initiative to revolutionize the tax and accounting industry's approach to advisory services.
Led a cross-functional team of designers and psychologists
Managed a budget of +400,000 CHF

Optimizing Customer Experience, Lufthansa, Airport Munich
Innovation Leadership at Lufthansa, Munich Airport
Led an 8-person cross-functional innovation team to reimagine the passenger experience at Munich Airport. Facilitated ideation workshops that generated 90+ concepts, then utilized the Double Diamond method to identify the most promising opportunities based on customer research and business viability.
Data-Driven Experimentation
Designed and implemented rigorous testing environments for selected concepts, combining both live airport trials and digital testing with actual Lufthansa customers. Established clear KPIs and measurement frameworks to validate hypotheses through qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Successful Implementation
Two innovations were successfully launched at Munich Airport: The "City Sprinter" express security lane for business travelers with minimal luggage, reducing perceived waiting times by 80%, and a "Baggage Home Delivery Service", validated through Wizard of Oz testing. These solutions demonstrated the value of rapid, iterative innovation in improving the passenger experience.
